Stapled. Condition: Good - Very Good. No Jacket. Frances Tipton Hunter (cover), F R Gruger, Henry Raleigh, and others (illustrator). First Edition. The December 5, 1936 issue of the Saturday Evening Post. Fiction includes most notably Vendee, a short story by William Faulkner, and part 5 of 7 Poirot Loses a Client, a Hercule Poirot mystery by Agatha Christie. Other fiction include Troy Weight, a short story by J P Marquand. There is also an article ("I Was So Scared .") by Jay Berwanger, winner of the first Heisman Trophy (1935). Cover art by Frances Tipton Hunter (Here Boy!). Light wear and soiling to the covers. Small corner folds at the bottom. A good to very good copy with fiction by prominent and important authors.
