Condition: Fair. 1932. First Published. 272 pages. Dust jacket over blue cloth with gilt lettering. Light thumb marking and moderate tanning to pages, pastedowns and free endpapers. More prominent to text block edges. Binding is slightly loose but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped dust jacket is in separate pieces with moderate rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Book in mildly and uniformly age toned, securely bound (no gutter splitting, although Book has a very slight slant), free of PO markings and with crimping to p185 as the only other discernible flaw.Cover is clean and bright, with sharp, though mildly rubbed, corners, light shelving bumping to the headband and tail, and clear, crisply distinct gilt lettering on the spine. Unclipped Dust Jacket, still showing GBP 30s net price, is age toned, tape-repaired along the, head, fading, particularly noticeable along the spine, rubbed and chipped throughout, and with several tears (no loss), the largest 1.5" at bottom of rear hinge.
