About the Author:
I’ve been writing since I was 8 years old and sold my first short story aged 18. I haven’t looked back since. I’ve written around 30 books (most available on Amazon) mainly for children, but have also written two adult novels about Owain Glyndwr’s War of Independence (the "Silver Fox" series) and am working on the third and final part. I have also been included in many anthologies of both poetry and prose. One of my books, “Gwydion and the Flying Wand” was serialised for BBC Schools Broadcasts. The BBC also commissioned a series of dramatized Welsh folk stories for broadcast. I have twice won the Tir na nOg Award and have also been short-listed for it on several occasions. I left school at 15, totally unqualified, but went (more or less accidentally) back into education aged 50 and was awarded an MA; I subsequently was awarded a PhD. I visit schools in the UK every year from my home in Brittany to help school-children learn the joys of writing and story-telling.
