Heleen van Rossum was born in the Netherlands and started writing books at the age of seven. Unfortunately, none went any further than the first chapter. After studying history and archive studies, getting married, moving to England and the United States, teaching, and having two children, she (fortunately) has started writing again. Peter van Harmelen lives in Amsterdam with his family. He pays careful attention to every line he draws and, as you might imagine, it takes quite a long time for him to finish a book (but it's well worth the wait!).
