About the Author:
Margaret Thomson Davis left school at sixteen, working as a children s nurse and in various other jobs before achieving her ambition of becoming a writer. She has published over twenty of novels and 200 short stories. Her first novel, The Breadmakers, is still a bestseller more than 25 years after it was published. She lives in Glasgow and is in great demand as an entertaining and informative speaker.
