About the Author:
Henry Ash was born in 1947 and as a triathlete he has been tackling the fascinating sport of triathlon both in theory and practice for the last 20 years. In his nine-triathlon books and numerous other specialist publications to date the enthusiastic endurance sportsman takes a good look at all issues relating to triathlon. The writer is known for his clear and vivid style and since the publication of his first book " My Adventure- the Hawaii Triathlon" in 1986 he became a trainer, training companion and motivator for a great number of triathletes. He himself has successfully taken part in almost 200 triathlon competitions worldwide, including several Ironman Hawaii and 28 Ironman distance in total. Barbara Warren has a doctorate in psychology and an emeritus status at the Community Colleges. She has held appointments as a visiting professor at the University of Tampico-Mexico, and at the University of Mtamoros-Mexico, at UCSD and SDSU. She is an expert High Performance, has been featured in numerous profiles, including Sports Illustrated and Elle. The methods used in all of her seminars have been tested in the most extreme distance sports competitions in the world, and passed with flying colors.
