Lucy Courtenay has been writing children's fiction for a long time. Additionally, her desk drawers are filled with half-finished stories waiting for the right moment to emerge and dance around. In her spare time, she sings with assorted choirs and forages for mushrooms (which her husband wisely refuses to eat).

James Davies is a London-based illustrator, author, and pro-wrestling expert who grew up in the 1980s and loved to draw videogame bad guys and dig in the garden for dinosaur bones. Since then, James has gone to college, gotten a haircut or two, and is extremely busy working on all kinds of book projects.
