At the age of 14, William is convinced that men are untrustworthy. His dad abandoned his mother for another woman, and no other men stepped into the void. As William's loneliness and lack of trust push his faith in Christ to the breaking point, he awakens to find that he, and many of the people he knows, have been transported to a mysterious forest-complete with beasts who would like nothing better than to lead William astray spiritually.
