Jack Haney was an honest, hard-working man who repaired the 1912 Reo car each night and drove all but 100 of the 7000 kilometres from the Atlantic to the Pacific. He yanked and pushed the car out of Maritime swamps and Prairie gumbo, and steered it along dangerous mountain trails.
