SIGNS - Film One: Earth

The first film in Erwin Raphael McManus's highly creative series SIGNS, Earth explores the contrast between spiritual barrenness and God's promise that He is doing a new thing for His creation.

A barren field. A stark landscape. As the poet Solomon said, "There is nothing new under the sun." McManus at once resonated with the loneliness of Solomon's words. He wondered what good could come from the emptiness of the world. Then he looked more closely. He saw sprouts cracking dirt. He saw God breathing warmth into dust. And he saw earth transform from darkness to a source of life.

Created to be 10-15 minutes in length and rich in Scripture, story, and powerful imagery, Earth and its upcoming sequels—Fire, Wind, Wood, and Water, all filmed in Hawaii—will change forever the way viewers see earth's elements and the God who created them.
