About the Author:
John Boardman, Lincoln Professor Emeritus of Classical Archaeology and Art at Oxford University, has written widely on the art and archaeology of ancient Greece. His books include Greek Art, The History of Greek Vases, Athenian Red Figure Vases, The Greeks Overseas, and more.

Boardman's Greek Art was first published in 1964. It was an excellent introduction to the field and a popular text for many college classes.
