Interesting foods prepared the low fat, cholesterol, sodium, and sugar way were the topic of Roth's Deliciously Low ( LJ 11/15/83), and she has used those same guidelines for this bookbut with the convenience of faster preparation and cooking times. Of the over 300 recipes included, one-half require only 30 minutes to prepare and many can be cooked in a microwave oven. There is a complete selection of recipes from appetizers to desserts, each with a complete calorie, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fiber, cholesterol, and sodium count but without the information about vitamins and minerals which appeared in the earlier book.
